History – Tudor/Stuarts

Geography – Welsh materials

Art – Painting and drawing

PE – Rugby (WRU Coach), fielding games and swimming

PSE - Emotional Well-being

EL - Increase emotional literacy vocabulary associated with the feelings of jealous and content

Life Skills – focusing on what skills we need in everyday living eg learning about our community, developing relationships etc.

Areas of study for Maths and Language are evident from weekly homework

Ways Which You Can Help At Home

  • Please send any interesting objects to school (not valuable items, please).
  • Please listen to your child reading at home every night (A Reading Diary is provided for you to make comments).
  • Please talk to your child about what they have been learning at school and encourage them to discuss topics, ask further questions and research topics of interest.
  • Visit the local library to choose books relevant to topics being studied at school.
  • Homework will be sent home every Friday, to be in by the following Tuesday.
  • A spelling list will be sent home every Monday. Children will be tested on these words the following Friday.

Please ensure that your child brings PE/Games kit every Monday. Kit is to be left in school until Friday.
